Bondtech BMG and E3D V6 Direct Fanduct
Description
I was really looking for a good fan duct for the Bondtech BMG setup on my CR-3D C1. https://www.cr-3d.de/unsere-produkte/c-serie/ But obviously this fanduct will fit on any setup with an E3D V6 and Bondtech BMG Extruder (Volcano Version up-coming when I find the time to test it). My goals for the fanduct where: 1. Easy removal of the fanduct if anything has to be done to the hotend. 2. 40mm fan for coldend cooling. 3. 360 degree cooling using 2 4010 blower fans 4. As compact as possible. 5. Mostly "enclosed" nozzle / heater block if installed to keep fingers away. I think I achieved these goals and hope everybody who prints this fanduct can give some feedback to improve the design or remix there own improved version. Due to the small distance between the heater block and the fan duct you should print the duct in temperature resitant material (ABS or ASA, no PETG does not work - guess how I know) and use a silicone sock. If you plan to mount the fan duct "flush" against a surface (as shown in the fusion 360 image) you should use a high static pressure fan. A Noctua 4020 worked fine in my open printer - but with an enclosure you should use some kind of powerfull 24v fan.
