Yet another DIY AR smart glasses.
Description
This is just one more of concept of AR glasses. Additional parts: 1. Raspberry Pi Zero W (or any arduino like compatible board that can work with 0.96 SPI OLED display). 2. 0.96 SPI OLED display. 3. Battery. 4. Some lens (I used one from a Google Cardboard 42mm diameter, cutted from both sides to make it 42 x 20 mm rectangle). Lens features (size and magnification) and position of the OLED display depends on each other and it is possible to use any other combination of them that will fit... 5. Transparent piece of plastic (that is optically good enough to not deform the picture). 6. Some software to display the information on the display. It's needed to mirror the picture. I use a python library and played with background = background.transpose(Image.FLIP_LEFT_RIGHT) function for that. There are a lot of such DIY glasses and probably only advantage of this design is not hiding side view.
