Large Power Bank
Description
Large, but yet movable power bank. I have built it with intention to use while camping where access to power lines is limited. While inside components can be changed to pretty much anything, in my build I have used: * 2 buck converters, which reduce the voltage to 5.3V (up to 4 amps each) * 1 buck converter, which reduces the voltage to 12.6v (up to 4 amps) * BMS board (5S) * Input lines for charging (21V) * 5 usb ports for output of 5V * Voltmeter * Switch for On/Off Output line for 12V (I have set it to 12V just to be able to connect pretty much any standard 12V device, but buck converter can also be adjusted for higher voltage output, to charge laptop) Battery setup is 5S15P. Since I have used recycled laptop batteries in this project, the total capacity summed up to 530Wh, which could be improved if using brand new quality batteries. The sides are 3D printed. Top and bottom parts can also be 3D printed considering you have really large print bed, but I chose to cut mine from 1mm stainless steel sheet using plasma cnc. Stainless steel is better for an overall rigidity as well as better heat distribution. Plasma or laser cut, or milled aluminum top and bottom cover would be a great option too.
