Description

<h2> Update: 7/21/2019 </h2> I am getting close to releasing the next Version. Because of this I am now going to set this version as a non-work in progress. If anyone needs something adjusted or made for this version, you can send me a message and I will see what I can do. - - - Update: 7/8/2019 Currently working on a new Control Box. I will update this one with a few fixes i found. but it is pretty much done unless someone needs something added. - - - Update: 6/5/2019 Yay they fixed it, can now use the Download all files again. It should have the latest version. New Version Currently in the works, No ETA at the moment. - - - Big Update: 6/1/2019 Guess I can call this version 1.3. ^^ Whats New: Added 70mm and 80mm 4 hole Mount Normal/Standard PC Type Fans for Top Plate Mounts. 15-25mm Wide Fans Should work fine. Added 80mm 3 Hole Mount Type GPU Fan for Top Plate Mount. Added Top Plate Covers for 70-80mm Normal/Standard PC Type Fans. Added Top Plate Mount Shroud for 3 Hole Mount Type GPU Fans. Added upper lip to outer part of walls so they don't fold in Added 40mm Fan Mount Plate to Rpi Front 2-4. Added Remixed Version of FedorSosnin Adjustable Feet. Adjusted/Fixed: Fixed fan sizes in file names. Modified Side Wall wings that go under frame. Added a little more support to them. Adjusted MKS/RPi Bottom Base mounts for walls. Made them a little thicker so they don't break as easy while tightening the walls to the base. Modified MKS/PRI Plug holes so the clip faces down. Makes it easier to remove the plugs once the control box is installed onto frame. Modified Dual Buck Converter Plate. Made the mounting holes longer so its easier to mount/space the buck converters. Might be a few more minor things I am forgetting but that is pretty much it for now. If there is any issues with something please let me know. If you would like something added or modified message me. Will always be adding more as needed. When I can so more time I will add a full guide of installation with pictures. - - - Update: 5/31/2019 Please wait before printing as I am releasing a update soon as I am a Idiot. Some of the fans are miss labeled in size and I need to do some file renaming for less confusion. The 75mm Plate files are for the top and are for 80mm GPU Fans Aftermarket. The 75mm Front fans are 70mm Standard Fans. I used a Stock AMD cooling fan for it. I will have a updated list and files as well as links to the connectors and fans to use. - - - Update: 5/21/2019 Added 30mm & 40mm x2 Top Fan Mount and Cover. Added 40mm x2 Front MKS Fan Panel & Fan Cover. Fixed Rpi Front Panel BCx2 so the displays are showing the right way. >.> Added a small guide on the front of the MKS Base for the Front MKS Fan Panel. Fixed Alignment and Fit of the Fan Cover Housing. - - - Update: 5/20/2019 Added Narrow Side Plates Made the Parts of MKS and RPi 4-4 that mounts to the front of frame thinner. Adjusted alignment some more. (Tinkercad likes to move things a little on me, I need to learn Fusion 360 lol.) Will try to keep things updated and will add more as needed. Let me know if anything needs to be fixed or added. - - - Update: 5/19/2019 Fixed Alignments, Added some new fans and sizes. Re-did Plug Ports to fit tighter and go in Easier. Removed Text on back panels as they didn't really seem to print right. Will update if anything else needs to be fixed or if I add/Change anything. - - - Update: 5/15/2019 I noticed some adjustments that need to be done so please print at your own risk. The outer walls need to be modified so they can be printed flat with no supports to save time on printing. Doing so will also modify the back and front walls. Will be modifying back wall to go under the frame for easier disconnect of JST and Powerpole plugs and also allow the rest of the Box to be moved back. I will keep different versions for those that want to customize there control box they way they like it. If anyone has any input on what they would like to see added or adjusted please let me know. - - - Made this Modular Control Box to fit my MKS Gen L (Should Fit SKR as well.), Raspberry Pi 3b+ and 2 Buck Converters. It is double the size of most standard control boxes for better airflow and wire management. I made each part modular so I don't have to print the whole box over again if i need to make changes. The 2 top fans are 75mm Gpu fans I took off 2 aftermarket 7900GS Coolers. And the front Fan on the MKS side is a 70mm Stock AMD CPU Cooler Fan. The rear panels are setup to hold Powerpole & JST SM 2-4pin connectors, USB, Ethernet & HDMI. (HDMI and Ethernet ports may need adjusting.) MKS: Powerpole Slots: Mainboard, Heatbed, Hotend. JST SM 4pin: Extruder, Z-Axis, Y-Axis, X-Axis Motors. JST SM 3pin: BLTouch JST SM 2pin: BLTouch or Z Endstop, Y Endstop, X Endstop, Bed Temp, Extruder Temp, Hotend Fan, Cooling Fan RPi: Powerpole Slots x3: Buck Converters or whatever else you want to use them for. JST SM 3pin x4: Fans & LED JST SM 2pin x4: Fans & LED USB x2: Wired to Raspberry Pi for Camera, Etc. The assembly will require M2-5mm Screws & Nuts, and Adjustable Feet on Frame. If you don't want to Cut & Solder your Stock wires. You can run them through each Slot or Modify the panel to your liking. This is still a work in progress and I will be updating it as needed for fine tuning. All parts created in Tinkercad. I will have pictures of my setup posted soon.
