4BR Collection - Nerf Buzz Bee Big Blast Raider/Rampage Parts
Description
All printed parts for my 4BR will be placed here. The 4BR is a Buzz Bee Big Blast or similar air tank (Berserker, Barbarian, Maniac, Spy Gear Signal Launcher, etc.), placed in a Raider or Rampage shell and uses a wye hopper to feed darts. - Wye Support: Supports the wye. Not going to be exact, add hot glue or epoxy, etc. until it is flush with the wye. I did not print and test this part - I opted to cut down the jam door and secure it in place with ABS glue instead. - Nameplate: Self-explanatory. Just add your text/logo/etc. of choice! - Lever Extension: If you're building a direct lever 4BR, you'll need to extend the lever. - Faux Brake: Compatible with mostly any CPVC/Alu barrel. Should be a good friction fit over 0.625" OD barrel tube, but will vary depending on the tube. Comes in a short and standard variant. Compatible with the CALIBURN! - Unused Extras: Do not use unless you're prepared for a little modding adventure! > Muzzle Stabilizer: Do not use without finishing the part yourself and double checking dimensions. I ended up not needing this part. No STL included for this reason. > Pump Cap: Cap for using the stock 4B/etc. pump. You have to take the stock pump apart, replace the handle with 3/4" CPVC, add a check valve and copious amounts of epoxy to seal it off, add a barb to the other end, and add the... > Pump Handle: ... to the end of the CPVC. It should friction fit but you can drill and add screws into it. This custom pump is still screwy and my last one failed due to a bad check valve. I swapped to a Bell AirStrike 350 pump instead, but a Topeak Master Blaster bike pump is typically recommended instead. Secure with zip ties or bendable wire. (I use the wires from Buzz Bee blaster packaging - very useful stuff!) In the future, I'd like to update the muzzle to use a screw clamp, similar to the Caliburn's clamping muzzle piece. I also needed to make some minor fixes on the nameplate base structure, that I haven't been able to test yet. Parts can be attached via epoxy, superglue, and/or via ABS glue if printed in ABS. The glue you need to use will depend on the part it is. Anyway, if all this is too much, message me or something and I may end up doing an actual write-up of the build. Most parts have to be sourced elsewhere other than 3D printing!
