Siebel Ferry (1/300)
Description
Here's a 1/300 model freight-carrying Siebel Ferry for coastal naval wargaming. This is supposed to represent an earlyish version for carrying freight (the flak version has a different superstructure and will follow eventually). It is a mashup of various illustrations and plans - these vessels seem to have been cobbled together with little thought for standardization. Nonetheless, if I've made any glaring errors, please point them out to me. For deck loading and armament, I suggest using guns from Deweycat's very useful 1/300 naval gun pack (37mm guns for the bridge and 88s for the deck) and 67% scaled prints of opel blitzes, hanomags and tanks from M Bergman's incredible 1/200 WWII vehicle collection.
