Modified Plotter/Vinyl Cutter Mount for 3D printers
Description
I have to say THIS IS NOT MY DESIGN. I have merely adapted it from Devin_Pauls design to suit my needs better. All credit goes to him. UPDATED DESIGN Changes I have made over the original design 1. On the base I have created a channel for a cable tie. My printer only has the top screw holes so I needed another way to fix it at the bottom. 2. The Bracket now has 4 Holes to reduce the flexing. this does limit the movement of the bracket up and down. 3. Increased the thickness of the beackets and backplate of the base 4. added 50% to the height of the holder 5. Created a thread in the Bracket holder for an M3 bolt 6. created a recess inside the bracket for a captive nut just in case the thread wears away. Again BIG THANKS to Devin Paul and his original Plotter/Vinyl Cutter Mount design. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3422179 so please go there and follow his guide and give any credit to him. NB. i found the Path to Gcode method easier https://medium.com/@urish/how-to-turn-your-3d-printer-into-a-plotter-in-one-hour-d6fe14559f1a
