MPMD glass bed clip
Description
This is to hold a 5" mirror from Hobby Lobby (https://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Glass-Crafting/Mirrors/Round-Craft-Mirrors---5%22/p/22814 ) to a Monoprice Mini Delta Printer. I made it customizable though, so feel free to use the customizer to make your own STL file. You will need support material for this print in the current orientation. I have not tried printing it on edge with support material under it. That might remove the need for support material in the middle of the part but I do not know if it will function right. Feel free to comment if you try it. Maybe you can adjust the starting angle of the support material to make the cleanup a little easier. I am not sure. I think I got the bed radius defined right for the printer, but there is a little bit of wiggle. That could be my printer not being 100% accurate though. If you print using the STL file, use 0.21mm layer heights. I printed my clip at 20% infill. I imagine any higher infill ration would cause it to be less flexible. If you plan to use glass much bigger than 5" with this printer, keep in mind that you will need something on the bed to transfer heat to the glass because those little black bed clips will be in the way. That is unless you modify the glass to avoid the clips. Make sure the part cooling fan and any silicone sock you have on your heater block do not bump the clips when you do G29 and G33 or it may through off your bed leveling. <b>Note about mirrors:</b> Round mirrors are often thicker around the edges to magnify the view of your face. I believe this will have G33 (auto-calibration) set the R aka DELTA_RADIUS too small and result in prints being the wrong size. For this reason, you should do G33 with the mirror off or upside down. It is more likely for the back of the mirror to be flat. Feel free to flip the mirror shiny side up for printing. The backing will probably peel off with the print.
