Fan bracket for LSI 9207-8i
Description
This bracket allows a 40mm fan to be mounted above the heat sink of an [LSI 9207-8i SAS HBA](https://www.broadcom.com/products/storage/host-bus-adapters/sas-9207-8i) ([Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0085FT2JC)) without altering the card or removing the stock pins that hold the heatsink in place. (Note that anyway the pins are't *quite* spaced properly for a 40mm fan. It may work, but it's a little dodgy, whereas this bracket is a tailored fit.) It was designed specifically for a [Noctua NF A4x10](https://noctua.at/en/nf-a4x10-pwm) (Amazon: [PWM](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DXRNYNX), [Non-PWM](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NQLT0M)) but should work with most standard 40mm fans. Use of a cooling fan significantly reduces the temperature of the HBA in cases that do not have server-caliber airflow (e.g. when using the card in a desktop chassis).
