Twilight Imperium 4th Edition + Prophecy of Kings Expansion (All components and Sleeved cards)
Description
This is a massive set of trays, bins, ad storage for the entirety of Twilight Imperium 4th Edition with additional room for expansion content in the future. There are player bins, faction bins, card trays, bit boxes, and internal structure to keep things in place. All told this took about 2kg of material. Some pieces com from other projects: * Faction compartments https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2807667. Also heavily modified versions of these for the planet and hazard holders. * A modified version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3119811. * The player plastic and technology from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2902772. * My own Ultimate Box Generator https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2594893 for some other containers. Everything will fix in the base box except 2 players plastic, or you can store all player plastic in the expansion box. Printing Details: Everything was printed at .2mm layers with 12% infill at 60mm/s print speed. Expansion --- I haven't printed all the components yet to test. But everything should fit. (It will still require both boxes.) Changes/Addition for expansion. * 7X TI4_Faction_Box_Base and TI4_Faction_Box_Lid * 2X Cards - Cutout * 2X TI4_Player_Box and Dice * 1X TI4 - Expansion - Bits and Dice (This will fit into the Bits box and make a few smaller trays. * 1X TI4 - Expansion - Planets and Tiles - Lid (This will hold all the Safe planets, move the Hazard ones to the old Safe container, and use the old Hazard container for the hyper gates. Components --- * **TI4_Player_Box** (6x): These are unmodified from [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2902772/files) for convenience. I chose to print these in each color. * **Dice** (6x, Optional): These are optional but if you have 8x colors dice for each color this tray will slid in over the technology cards to hold them.(If you want to order dice see the note below.) * **TI4_Faction_Box_Base** (13x) and **TI4_Faction_Box_Lid** (13x): Again for convenience, these are from [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2807667). These will take the majority of the time and you can only print 1 at a time on a 200mm print area. * **Tiles - Hazard** (1x): For all the red backed planets. Modified from [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2807667). * **Tiles - Safe** (1x): For all other planets and Mecatol. This will file the rest of the space after all the factions. Modified from [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2807667). * **Tiles - Lid** (2x): Lids for the previous items. Modified from [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2807667). * **Strategy Card - Base** (1x) and **Strategy Card - Lid** (1x): Modified from [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3119811). * **TI4_Strategy_Card_Box_Body_v2** (1x, Optional) and **TI4_Strategy_Card_Box_Lid_v1** (1x, Optional): Original solid replacement for the Strategy Card parts. * **Bits - Solid** (1x): Storage tray for other bits. * **Bits** (1x Optional): A replacement for the previous container with mesh walls. * **Cards - Cutout** (2x): Storage for all the cards. One can be used during the game for action and politics cards. Will fit sleeved or un-sleeved cards. * **Support - A** (2x), **Support - B** (1x), **Support - C** (1x), **Support - D** (1x), **Support - E** (1x): Support C should have a Bottom Thickness of 0. See assembly instructions below. * **Support - F** (1x, Optional): If you bed is large enough print this instead of the two A supports. Assembly --- Once everything is printed you may have to do a bit of cleanup on the corners to get everything to fit well. This is relatively precise in the game box so that thing's don't like and spill. * Assemble all the faction boxes and make a row on one end. Add the Safe planets to complete the row and slide it snug to one end of the box. * Take the two A supports(or one F support) and test inserting them end to end across the bottom of the box near this row. You will likely have to sand a nice bit off them to get them to fix well. you want them long enough that the box will hold them in place but not to long that they flex, bow, or damage the box. Once you are close glue them together end to end with super glue and retest. Once perfect this will slide in point first under the faction and planets and keep those form moving around. * Now place in some of the Player Boxes and then test out supports C and D. You should be able to slide things in and out but bins still help from sliding around. You may need to sand the sides of these supports and sand bit of a bevel on the tops to ensure smother operation. Also ensure the ends of both are nice and flat. Once satisfied again use supper glue to attach support D end to end onto the end of support C. * Next glue Support B onto the bottom edge of the other end of support C. you will find that the inside of the curved cutout is the same width as support C. Ensure the bottom is flush when you close these together. You should now have one long piece that goes B-C-D. * At this point you will want to move some of the player bins out of the way and leave just one in the corner along with the Bits box. Now inserting this longer assembly will wrap about those and be snug tot he box at one end and hold the a support in the proper place at the other end. You will probably need to add a bit of length to the D end of this to push it out from the cardboard a bit and make taking the containers in and out smother. I did this with a few small .4mm skin squares i printed and glued onto the end and trimmed. * Once done don't glue the larger assembly to support A or you won't be able to get it into the box without damaging things. If the pieces were sanded and sized properly the simple pressure of the cardboard and factions will keep everything in place. * Support E is just a spacer to hold the player box's and rules and such in place.
