Gas can repair My favorite 2 1/2 gallon spare gas can broke its spout. A years-old repair finally failed, the plastic degraded over time, and it would not survive another repair. You must use nylon or another gasoliine-proof filament material. I test-printed it in ABS to be sure everything fit, and then printed nylon. The nylon was wet from sitting around for years but it printed satisfactorily... Good enough for this job, anyway. Rough surface.. The internal threads oppose the external threads, so some difficult support is guaranteed, no matter how its oriented. Printed hot on an Afinia, at ~260 C., 0.3mm layers. Raft. 90 minutes. 38 grams nylon. File is SAE (inches) No Metric file provided. If someone tries to print this and a tiny file appears, just scale it up by a factor of 25.4
