Ladder Gate/Leiter - DIY FPV Racing

Description

This ladder gate is building up on the design/parts from my gravity gate: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3627385 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPh3oLuTf9o 2 Leifheit Pole/Teleskopstange (41523) needed https://www.baumarkteu.de/leifheit-teleskopischestiehl-145-bis-400-cm-41523-11854?utm_campaign=shopping&gclid=CjwKCAjwq-TmBRBdEiwAaO1en5zFkyxamNgiw-ENjb9Cc5uiX32wr1bXyDcTPEoGe6Ns_h-NIerClxoCF_wQAvD_BwE 1x 8,5mm x 4,5m glas fibre rods for tents (usually consisting of 9 pieces, each 50cm), length can be adjusted (for 3 segments with 1,50m width) https://www.ebay.de/itm/Zeltstange-Zeltgest%C3%A4nge-Tarpstange-Fiberglas-Ersatzgest%C3%A4nge-bis8-5mm-Zelt-Stange/132884495609?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 For better visibility you should add some fabric or similiar to the fibre glas rods, for better visibility. 2x Heavy duty pegs (about 40cm long), like this one: https://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=382847951075&view=all&tid=968675846025 About 10m Paracord when using the heady duty pegs. (the cord should not be much thicker than 3,5mm, better 3mm, since it needs to be routed trough the glas fibre rods, which usually have a hole of about 3,8mm in my case). https://www.ebay.de/itm/2m-5m-10m-15m-30m-MICRO-Paracord-2mm-MicroCord-Fallschirmleine-Fallschirmschnur/172824087609?hash=item283d1e4c39:m:mvUBraz8T6JzF6kvsuyc20w Fabric for better visibility, e.g. from FPV cheap gate: https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/fpv-cheap-gate-fpvcheapgate-racing-drohne-gates/1103778083-249-9024 (1 gate is 4m long, so 1 is sufficient for a 3 segments each 1,5m) Some M3 screws (about 10-12mm) The pieces have tight tolerances. The clamps (3 different diameters) hold in place by connecting to the other piece. Additional information: There are 3 different size clamps (inner diameter), which consist from 2 pieces (Piece 1, Piece 2) The Connector Piece also consists from 2 parts and is used to attach the stairs to the clamps. So 2 assembled pieces for one stair needed. Carbon rod endcap should be clear The Rope Fixer is fixing the paracord which is fed through the carbon rods, so they don't fall apart. This piece then is placed inside the connector piece and screwed in place The latch simply attaches to the connector pieces and should avoid slipping the connector piece out of the clamp. In my case they are optional, since the pieces fit pretty well and with some resistence, which is intented, so the clamps don't slip up or down. Just realized that one piece is missing. Added the Peg_Holder which connects the telescopic arm with the metal peg (2 pieces per telescopic arm needed). The Peg_Holder_Spacer is for the upper Peg_Holder, which has to slide over a thicker area of the telescopic arm, leaving some slack at the final position. The space is supposed to take away the slack to some degree. Take a look at the gravity gate thingi. There are some more pictures, which may answer some of your questions.
