FR10 Quadcopter Frame
Description
This frame is designed to be used for a long range 10" FPV quadcopter with a dead cat configuration to remove the propellers from view. The frame features are - Large top deck to fit large batteries with ease, even a 5000mAh 6S 65C. - Three separate stack mounting locations (30.5mm and 20mm) - Rear plate options with/without holes to fit Project 399 Super-G FC gummies - Rear plate options to fit APD 100/120A ESCs with no overhang for extra protection - Motor mounting holes for 35xx motors such as Brother Hobby T5 - Side-load GoPro Session mount with TBS Jello Guard insert Updates January 24th 2021 - Added "V3" front, rear and top plates edited by stynkebutt that allow a GoPro Hero 9 to run SuperView with no props in view. The designs also incorporate slight changes to mounting holes for components as well as adding additional strap slots. Updates June 10th 2019 - Added "FR10_front_plate_V2" with additional cutouts - Added "FR10_rear_plate_V2_TPN_no_gummies", which uses three press nuts (TPN) per arm instead of two press nuts and one lock nut, as well as some additional cutouts. The frame plates are designed to be the following thicknesses: - Arms: 7mm - Front plate: 3mm - Rear plate: 3mm - Top plate: 2-3mm HARDWARE: For airframe: - M3x18 round standoff x6; rear plate (I ground mine from M3x20) - M3x28 round standoff x4; front plate - M3x16 button head x12; arms - M3x18 button head x6; centre posts and stack - M3x8 button head x14; plates - M3 press nuts x12 For GoPro mount - M3x30 round standoff x2 - M5x10 round standoff x2 - M3x6 button head x4 - M3x8 button head x8 - M2x5 cap head x2; FPV cam For motors - M3x10 button head x16 The 3D printed components are identical to the FR7 frame found here (with exception to the rear GPS mount, which will be reduced in height by 1mm)" : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3590777 The motor mount dimensions are identical to the StandInQuadDesigns Hildagard, so will fit TPU motor guards made for this.
