4-5mm Dyneema Cord Pulley using 608Z Bearing
Description
I made this new bearing pulley to experiment with string powered propulsion and suspension adjustment on my development of Solar Muscle Electric Vehicles (SMEV). I am using 4mm Dyneema cord with 1300dN design strength. I am not sure how continuous load and high pressure will effect the PETG printed pulleys. Worst case I may have to upgrade to nylon or have these turned out of aluminum... Using multiple block and tackle like pulleys the force will be distributed on multiple strings and hopefully end up in the accaptable range... If I end up creating the spreadsheet to calculate the forces I may upload it later. For now the FreeCAD source is included so mix it up and share!
