StashColumn

StashColumn

Description

Sometimes desktop organization means an out of sight home for those few small items that always seem to be lying around. With the StashColumn, not a single millimeter of surface space is lost, we just raise it up, making it perfect for compact work surfaces. StashColumn is available in both short and tall versions, depending on your needs and the build volume of your printer. There are optional storage drawers available to meet your needs. Choose one full drawer, 3 stacked drawers, or none at all! Smooth rotation is provided by 34 standard .177 Cal. (4.5mm) BBs, captive between the base and top. This design could be printed all at once with proper nesting of components, and the ability to use soluble support materials, as clearances between parts are standardized with a .2mm layer height. StashColumn supports larger items such as potted plants, bookshelf speakers, or decorative display items with a base size up to 140mm (5.5in). To prevent StashColumn from movement due to uneven desk or print surfaces, the base has 4 recessed locations for standard 1/2" rubber cabinet door bumpers for grip. StashColumn was designed in Autodesk Fusion360 for the Organized Fusion design challenge. The sample print in the photos was printed in Hatchbox Wood filament on a Tevo Tarantula using 5% infill, 4 walls, and a .2mm layer height. The base components require support material at about 10% density. StashColumnShort requires 166.6mm of Z height, StashColumnTall requires 287mm. If printing the 3 drawer stack, print 1 bottom drawer, and 2 others. https://youtu.be/Ql5AUJcWR2o https://youtu.be/-WizHFmJFVY https://youtu.be/b6GY72l8KpY Edit 1) Now that the contest has ended, I will add, this was designed to accommodate a Pax 3 in a skunk case. If you have a similar setup, this is a perfect fit and easy to use.
