Ender 3 Filament guide/cleaner

Ender 3 Filament guide/cleaner

Description

--UPDATE-- __9-2-19__ - I was always having trouble getting the filament in since the printers position in the enclosure made it difficult to lift the latch. i decided to try and flip my design to make the lid flip in the opposite direction. after 2,3 different designs i had one that still prints in one piece, and also it still maintains the cable holders while opening in the other direction. I hope you guys find this simple update a lot easier to use. __6-22-19__- So i was messing around and decided to shorten the guide alittle as i noticed after a while it started to flex a little bit. I then decided to add 2 basic wire guides with holes for zip ties so that you can safely move the hotend wires out of the way. You may want to take a look at the pictures to see how i attached them. the newer version is printer in black PLA with the zip ties attached in the pictures. the Gold PLA printed one you see was the older design. both STL's are available for download. ------IMPORTANT---- DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE ZIP TIES. this can cause your wires to not be able to move freely as your hotend makes its travel moves... i strongly suggest after this install before you tie things down to raise your Z axis up to the 230MM mark to make sure you have plenty of slack for the wires. So i wanted to have a filament guide and also a cleaner installed to keep dust, and animal hair out of the nozzle so i remixed 2 awesome designs into 1 and it works awesome. simple design done in Tinkercad.
