Gas Seal for 2in Potato Cannon
Description
This is a gas seal designed to launch projectiles out of a potato launcher, or spud gun, that has a 2 inch diameter barrel. Print with 100% infill for better chance of reuse after a launch. After you print it, put some tape around the outside tabs. The gas seal is slightly smaller than the diameter of a 2 inch barrel, but when you put tape around the tabs, it becomes larger than the barrel and the tabs will flex so that it makes a really good seal against the barrel. I put two layers of scotch tape and it works great. Ideal use is when shooting something that doesn't make a very good gas seal on its own such as a golf ball or a small lime. I'll put the link here as soon as I finish it. UPDATE: I added a chamfer to the rim of the gas seal and it slides in a lot easier while still creating a good seal. The new version is called Gasss Seal.
