S800 Matek-HV vtx mounting plate
Description
This is a mounting plate that allows the Matek-hv VTX to be fitted into the S800. The VTX mounts with the LEDs facing down, and the heatsink near the carbon fibre cover. This means you cannot see the LEDs, but the VTX will remain cool. You can use Betaflight / iNAV Tramp VTX control to change power, band and channel (connect Matek-vtx's TX pin to a TX uart on the flight controller). You can still manually change the VTX channel, band and power via the buttons which can be pressed with the VTX installed, if required. You need to CA-glue 4 M3 plastic nuts into the mounting plate, then CA-glue a plastic washer on each of the 4 holes between the VTX and the mounting plate, then use 4 plastic 5mm studs to hold the VTX in place. You need to remove a small amount of foam to allow the antenna connector to fit. The antenna cable is then pushed behind the mounting studs, holding the cable in place. The VTX should be mounted so that the antenna connector and switches are facing towards the centre of the model, not towards the wing-tips.
