MMU2S Filament Path Filler for MK3S Bondtech Extruders
Description
This is a simple design to improve the filament path in MK3S extruders when using an MMU2/S. If you leave the magnet and ball IR sensor setup in the mk3s extruder if allows filament strings to gather up in the gaps when doing filament changes during multi-material printing. This part fits perfectly in the ball hole and creates a seamless path for filament to go through without reprinting the extruder body. It prints as is without supports and can be done in any filament type. Installing this can be a little tricky, I used small pliers to angle it in from the wider open side of extruder top. Removing it is much easier, just use a thin edge like a knife to pry it out. I have installed and removed the same part 3 times successfully in different extruders.
