Tile/Plate Stand/Display
Description
I Laser Cut The Gettysburg Address Into A 8" X 12" Marble Tile From Home Depot. I Need A Stand To Display It. I Took The Simple Ipad Stand And Imported The Dxf Into Visio. I Then Converted It To Visio Objects And Then Shrunk The File Down Until The Slot Was 1/4 Inch, The Thickness Of The Acrylic. That Happened To Make It Fit Just Inside The Piece Of Acrylic. The Slots Also Magically Fit The Width Of The Tile (.34"). I Then Added The Image Of Abraham Lincoln, Even Though He Is Hidden When The Tile Is In Place. Note Visio Gave Me Issues When Trying To Cut It On A Universal (The Printer So No Lines To Vector, Just Raster), So I Switched The Epilog (Yeah The Garage Is Awesome) And It Worked Fine, Except The Little Bit That Was Out Of Print Range, *Apparently.* I Did A Quick .1 " Cut To Knock The Piece Out.
