Description
A set of simple and highly effective E3d V6 mount system for Creality Ender's series printers. The features and advantages: - Very strong mount of the E3d V6 hotend with the integrated 4010 stock part cooling fan mount at front - The heavy heatsink fan mounts directly to the frame and has no contact with the hotend. It is no longer rides and vibrates the e3d V6 hotend - "Dragon Fang" Part cooling fan air duct. Strong and wide air flow. - Very light weight, just ~17g. It allows to set 2 times higher acceleration. - An ability to mount BLTouch. It consists of 5 parts: 1. E3D V6 base mount (4 perimeters 35% infill, 1mm top and bottom) 2. E3D V6 clamp (4 perimeters 35% infill, 1mm top and bottom) 3. E3D V6 heatsink fan (heatsink fan_sunon_high.stl) 4. Part fan blower - I called it "Dragon Fang" 5. 2pcs small round inserts to correctly mount 4010 fan 6. DragonFang_Volcano - for Volcano heatblock You can choose V6 mount with BLTouch. I've designed it according to official BLTouch mount recommendations. BLTouch offsets, mm: X = 29 Y = 0 To improve looking of the 4010 fan and increase some air flow I'd recommend to print this ring https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3813567 To assemble "E3D V6 base mount" we need 2 pcs M3 brass inserts (pics for reference). And 2 pcs M2.5 brass inserts are also need for V6 clamp to mount 4010 fan. Install it with the hammer. "Dragon Fang" mounts with 2pcs stock M2 x 10mm screws. It has very thin walls at the tip 0,8mm and 0,4mm. Apply cold solvent vapor for 30 minutes. Little supports needs for base mount and E3D V6 heatsink fan. You can use just any kind of plastic you like. The total weight of these 4 parts is just 17 g, including 4 brass inserts. Last update: 28.12.2020: New print area fan shroud, - Tuskin. Very lightweight but many sided cooling. It blows exactly where needed. Consists of two parts Tuskin_base and Tuskin2. After printing just glue it toghether. Supports are definetely needed for Tuskin2. Two aligning holes - insert a piece of filament.
