DE1 Skale Stand
Description
Update 2020-01-18 Added a base with 1.5mm shorter feet for those DE1 owner's who's drip tray sits a little lower and scrapes the base. Also added a 67mm stem. --------------- Update 2019-07-03 Added a narrower version of the top plate so that it can be printed on a smaller bed. --------------- This is a stand specifically for the [Skale scale](https://smile.amazon.com/Skale-Smart-Bluetooth-Kitchen-Scale/dp/B07DLC6YNG/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=scale+scale&qid=1560348289&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1) and the [Decent Espresso DE1](https://decentespresso.com/overview). This stand allows you to put the Skale scale under the DE1's drip tray. Print the base, one of the stems, and the top. I would recommend the 63mm stem as a good choice. Its tall enough to clear the drip tray cover. But short enough to not be too high above the drip tray if you don't use the cover. If you want one to only use without the tray cover, then use the 61mm stem. The feet on the base are a tight fit to the Skale. Remove the Skale's standard top cover to reveal the holes for the feet. Put the base on top of the Skale and push down on each corner. If it just won't fit, then sand the feet a little bit until it does. But make sure the fit is tight so that the feet won't pop up out of the holes if/when you put something heavy on the top plate. I would test/dry fit all the pieces first. Make sure everything is flush. If there are any little blobs or strands which prevent a flush fit, cut/sand/trim them off. Once everything fits flush and you've confirmed the height of the stem, you can crazy glue all the pieces together. I use a clamp to hold the pieces together while the crazy glue dries. Give it a full day to dry.
