Robotic Prosthesis

Robotic Prosthesis

Description

This project was designed by Pine Grove Area High School Engineering Student Nicholas Brown. He designed this robotic prosthesis based on the Flexy-Hand project by Gyrobot. This prosthetic allows for individual finger movement even if the user do not have a wrist. It uses EMG signals from the users muscles to send signals to an Arduino Mega and output to 5 servo motors. The project includes a how-to, list of materials, pictures, and all of the design files so that any Solidworks user can modify the design. If you build this project or decide to modify it please let us know by posting in the comments, so that we may track the success of the project.
