Upcycling Keurig K-Cups - Daisy
Description
After emptying the grounds out of your Keurig K-Cups, you can turn them into daisies. The technique I use is very similiar to the steps from this Make It Easy Crafts blog post: http://www.makeiteasycrafts.com/2012/06/patriotic-k-cup-flower-wreath.html Instead of measuring with Step 2, you can print and use the included template to help make your 8 petals. This model was made in OpenSCAD and the code is included in the event you want to customize for other flowers. The centers I print in opaque yellow filament. They are so thin that light does shine through. I used 156 of these daisies to make a large lamp shade for a pendant light. They also work well as wreaths. You can double up the K-Cups and paint them for a different look.
