GearBox v3 -Modular
Description
This is a modular gearbox meaning if you need more speed you can print another one and easily put them together. The modules each have 2 gears with a 1:5 ratio. The gears themselves are very strong and can handle a lot of force. A complete module takes about 6 hours to print which is not a large amount of printing time so it is easy and fast to make a lot of them however this is completely dependent on your printer as well as your settings. Also if your wish you can scale up or down all the parts and it will work just fine. I found this size to be easiest and fastest to print with a lot of strength. {video: https://youtu.be/tdeh0zueUj0 } PARTS PER MODULE: 1x S_Gear 1x L_Gear 1x B_Case 1x T_Case 2x Shaft The Shaft_NoCap is only if you don't want the output to be round ( have the cap ). PARTS PER 2 MODULES: 2x S_Gear 2x L_Gear 2x B_Case 2x T_Case 3x Shaft The Shaft_NoCap is only if you don't want the output to be round ( have the cap ). MODULAR ASSEMBLY: Every second module needs 2x Shafts. To put two modules together first build both of them separately. Then rotate the 2nd one and simply put it on top of the 1st one with the 1st output shaft going in to the 2nd input.
