TurnsPro Motorized Camera Slider
Description
This motorized slider uses a TurnsPro for the movement. With the timelapse device it's very easy to control and plan the perfect shot. Without the TurnsPro you can get all needed parts for about 15€. I bought everything on AliExpress except the pipes. It is designed for small cameras like a gopro or similar, if you have a larger camera and you still want to build this i recommend using Ø12 pipes. Please contact me or write a comment and i will upload the adjusted parts. #Material: * 1 x TurnsPro * 2 x Ø8 Pipes (as long as you want - mine are 750mm long) (***) * 1 x 734x70x9 Wooden bottom plate (**) * 2 x SCS8UU Linear Bearing (*) * 1 x 2m Belt 2GT 6mm * 2 x 2GT 20 Idle pulley (*) * 2 x Ø4x20 Rod * 2 x 1/4" D-Ring Tripod Screw * 2 x cable ties * 8 x DIN 963 M4 x 10 #Print: Print the parts as they are positioned for the best results. * FrontPlate * BackPlate (V2 is open at both pulleys - easier assably/disassambly) * Groundplate * Pulley * Tripod mount (**) (\*) You can also print these parts (eg for testing), but i recommend bying them (\**): Optional - to mount it on a tripod (\***): Take the linear bearing with you when buying these to make sure they fit #Speed: The maximum speed is limited by the TurnsPro by 20s/360°. I tried to make the pulley as big as possiblle for a fast slider. With 112 teeth it has a speed of 11,2mm/s, or about a minute for the whole length. As it is a timelapse device you can go as slow as you want. #Links: * 2 x SCS8UU Linear Bearing: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32774422132.html * 2m Belt 2GT 6mm: https://aliexpress.com/item/32765021660.html * 2GT 20 Idle pulley: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32954658121.html * 1/4" D-Ring Tripod Screw: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32846544763.html #Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTYMHzu986M #Support me on paypal: <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target="_top"> <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick" /> <input type="hidden" name="hosted_button_id" value="ANGNF86MKEF7W" /> <input type="image" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donate_LG.gif" border="0" name="submit" title="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!" alt="Donate with PayPal button" /> <img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_AT/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1" /> </form>
