Beefy Keenovo Wire Strain Relief for CR-10
Description
"Beefy" cable strain management solution for a Keenovo + CR-10. Didn't want a cable chain. Didn't want to drill holes. But I wanted a secure way of attaching the strain relief to the bed of my CR-10. So this is my solution. Probably overkill, but it works really well (so far). I have the wires in a nylon sleeve and electrical tape to secure the end near the heat pad. Instead of a fancy cable chain, I just velcro'd the cable to the back of the Y-axis motor. No rubbing and super simple. The version here is slightly modified from my picture to remove the guide walls closest to the heat bed to avoid having to cram the wires in too close to the heat pad. I don't have a second zip tie in my picture because of this. With this version, you should use both zip ties. UPDATE: Added two new versions. v2 is the one I'm currently using. v3 is designed to attach more securely directly to the carriage. Both were significantly "beefed up" to try to avoid sagging and were redone in Fusion 360 (friends don't let friends use TinkerCad for anything more complex than a donut). Print these using ABS or PETG to avoid sagging. Even though they won't get very hot if you are using an insulating pad below your Keenovo, it's warm enough for PLA to sag down and essentially cause this to drag back and forth on the belt. Don't do what I did...I've now printed them in PETG and all is fine after a number of months of use.
