Anet A6 BLTouch mount with fan duct

Anet A6 BLTouch mount with fan duct

Description

The purpose of this design was to position the BLTouch close to the nozzle. To achieve this, the cooling fan has been relocated and the fanduct redesigned. The fan duct is hold on place with a locking into the BLTouch mount and the BLTouch mount has holes to attach the cable harness with cable ties. Maintenance to the extruder does not infect the BLTouch position and the X-axis movement range is not reduced. The spacers can be used to adjust the BLTouch Z position with the nozzle. The BLTouch trigger position must be below the nozzle while the retracted position must be above the nozzle. If the BLTouch is mounted with the included springs, the required spacer can be easily added or replaced. Note: The original firmware on the Anet A6 does not support the BLTouch and electrical modifications are needed! All parts were printed with a 0.2 layer height setting. PETG filament was used for the mount and PLA for the fan duct. The fan duct was printed with outside support and on a raft. The circular fan duct is available with designed print support which is easy to remove. Changes since August 16, 2019: -added spacers from 0.3 to 1.2 MM with 0.1 increment Changes since May 28, 2020: -added circular fan duct with and without print support
