Safety Razor Holder/Hanger
Description
Designed to hold a double-edged safety razor, as it kept falling off the shelf in the shower. I had some 5mm metric (M5) stainless steel flange nuts from another project. The method of attachment is a suction cup with a M5 threaded stud that is about 7mm long. I designed this to have room for the suction cup, and holes in the support area along with being slightly narrower than the razor itself to allow faster draining/drying. The suction cups are at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074SH64KZ If you don't have a M5 flange nut, you may be able to get just one at an Ace Hardware in the small parts bin area. If you only want a stainless M5 nut (no flange) Ace has them in the small parts bin (I looked) in the Hillman bin/tray 319, item 4045-C, for $0.45/each. The razor pictured is a WeiShi butterfly open safety razor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PKGXZ24 I thought of maybe making the shelf being at the bottom like a hook, however, I liked this design better as the flange nut and threaded stud are covered by the razor. I might make a v2 for an M5 hex nut to be used (i.e. a hex shaped hole) instead of the flange... because options...
