Watercolour/Gouache Travel Palette for Kaweco Sport Pen Box

Just prior to going on vacation late last year, I decided I wanted a more compact travel palette for taking watercolours on the road. I had a couple of Kaweco fountain pen boxes handy, so I decided this might be a good fit. The kit is split in to two stacked trays - I suggest keeping the palette tray on the bottom, the pen tray on the top. The palette tray has 8 small wells, a large mixing area, plus one big one on the right which could be used for a small mop brush (i used a makeup blush brush in the photo, but nowadays opt to just use water from my water brush). I may eventually use for white gouache, but currently just use as a separate mixing area. The pen tray is deliberately low profile to provide some separation between pens/brushes and the paint but to also allow the maximum amount of space for these pens/brushes, as the Kaweco pen box is not very long. My kit includes some Kaimei brush pens, a retractable makeup brush and a Pentel water brush. There is room either on the bottom of the box lid or under the pen tray for a label - I recommend including your chosen palette colour names there. These were printed solid mostly because i wanted some durability. The walls are thin, so it doesn't make a big difference to print times. Depending on the paint medium you want to use as well as the tone of the support you want to paint on, you may either want to print this with white or grey filament. If you don't have either, you could probably go over the palette print with an enamel white or grey paint instead.
