Prusa MK3(s) Bear upgrade PSU holder 114x50
Description
I am in the process of upgrading my Prusa MK3S to a Bear frame. Unfortunately I am working with a generic PSU with a footstamp of 50 x 112 milimeters. It is too wide for the standard Bear PSU mounts, so I have come up with this solution. The lower mount fits into the case bottom and is fixated with a M3 square nut in the mount and a M3 bolt going through mount and case. The upper mount bolts directly onto the PSU. For the rest you will need 3 T nuts and bolts to attach to the frame and a number of M4 bolts to attach the case to the PSU itself. Update: It was very hard to mount nuts to the mains connector. As this was originally designed with a separate bottom part. So I changed this to hold 2 square M4 nuts to be slided in from, above. Have not tried it myself as I managed to get normal nuts to the bolts with a lot of struggle.
