Sun-Inspired clock

Sun-Inspired clock

Description

This is a 3D printed sun clock. You must print one base part and 12 rays. I printed the base at 20% infill and the rays at 5%. Supports are needed under the base's dome and in its peg holes, and under the pegs of the rays. All pieces have been designed with very large clearances and should fit together easily, but may require sanding if your printer is not precise enough. It's OK to take off a lot of plastic if necessary: The rays are so light they don't require a lot to hold them in the holes. Use lots of glue (I used hot glue) to glue rays into the base. Link to the clock kit needed (43/64 inch shaft length): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PKJWXBS/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza Please post a make if you decide to make your own. I'd love to see it.
