ThorFire PF10 Glasses Clip
Description
I wear glasses. I hate them, but it is better than the alternative. The glasses I wear are the thin rimmed type made out of that bendy metal that doesn't like to break. I wear the bendy type because sometimes my face runs into things. Broken noses heal; broken glasses don't. I thought to myself that I should take advantage of the metal structure affixed to my face to allow the use of a flashlight. Thus, the "ThorFire PF10 Glasses Clip" was born. This would be especially useful for small close-up work, spelunking very small caves, pretending to be a Borg, and working on the plumbing under a sink (the human head was never intended to be under a sink, by the way). IMPORTANT: This will not work on every pair of glasses. The side-pieces (temples) of my glasses are 3mm tall by 1.2mm wide. If you wear thick-rimmed hipster glasses, this will not work for you. This was also designed to take advantage of flexible frame glasses. Don't break your glasses trying to make this fit. Avoid an "I told you so." Notes: 1. The ThorFire PF10 is 14.6mm in diameter. Theoretically, this clip to hold anything of that dimension. 2. This is a remix of my "Maglite Solitaire Glasses Clip" version 2 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3712971). This one is designed to hold the ThorFire PF10 flashlight. It is a simple, push-button, AAA flashlight that I had lying around. I thought if I used it with this design, it might actually get some use. The Solitaire works well; it's my EDC flashlight. But, I thought, "I can never have too many flashlights or ways to use them" (See confession of flashlight addiction in my other flashlight-related things).
