Acurite Weather Station Roof Mount
Description
My accurite weather vane mount broke this year during a storm, So I designed this and installed it,. Its been through a number of large storms and taking the heat from the roof on the west side with no issues yet. I printed in Petg white. I believe I used supports to make sure the holes were as round as possible. I found with the old one 1 in id pvc pipe will fit nicely over the original pipe so I could get the vane higher off the roof. I put a sheet rock screw in to make sure it did not spin or fly off. This is much better than the original, I was able to use a longer pipe and it sits straight and does not flex.
