Backplate for RailCore 2 - Top Cover Hinge
Description
This is a backplate for the hinges of the RailCore 2 top cover. I was not excited to tighten the nuts on the back of acrylic and relying on bolts in acrylic to hold up to the constant opening and closing of the enclosure, so I designed a simple load spreader, which also helps to hold the nuts when you tighten the bolts on the other side. This is designed for lock nuts to be partially pressed into the part and 16mm M3 bolt to stay inside the nut for no sharp parts sticking out. Works with 1/4" acrylic.
