Full Length human Collagen Lysyl Hydroxylase LH3

Full Length human Collagen Lysyl Hydroxylase LH3

Description

The protein structure (PDB code 6FXK) was divided into the three separate (GT, AC, LH) domains according to our paper (Scietti et al., Nature Communications, 2018, http://dx.doi.org/10.1038/s41467-018-05631-5) and rendered as surface with PyMol. STL conversion obtained through VRML export in PyMol and subsequent optimization with MeshMixer. This model was presented as part of our poster at GRC Collagen 2019. The 3D model was printed using both Creality Ender3 and Anet A8 with PLA filament. The structure of LH3 is homodimeric, therefore to obtain a complete model you must print two copies of the same STL file. The three domains can be easily connected together using superglue. Alternatively, I also uploaded the STL for the full-length model (again, print twice to get the homodimer)
