Vortex Solo 10x36 monocular lens caps
Description
I really like my Vortex Solo 10x36 monocular, however it does not come with lens caps. As I was afraid of damaging the lenses, I designed them myself. The final design is quite simple. It consists of two small caps that fit the two lenses and kept in place by a piece of elastic rope with a diameter of 3 mm. The elastic rope is attached to the caps by routing it through a small hole on top of the caps. To prevent losing the lens caps, the caps are attached to the monocular by looping the elastic rope through the lanyard hole. I printed the lens caps in black pla with the default Cura pla settings.
