E3D hotend mount for Ender 3/Pro Creality

Description

This is a mount to use an E3D V6 Hot End on an Ender 3/Pro/CR10 and any other Creality 3D printer with a V slot Carriage on the X axis. I did this because my costum hotend failed castastrophically. I didn't want to wait so long for an origial spare part to arrive. I had an Extra Hotend on my drawer so... Materials Needed: -E3D V6.........................X1 -50mm. Radial Fan........X1 -M3X8 screw..................X2 -M3X20 screw................X2 or longer -M3X25 screw................X1 or longer for fan duct -M3 instert......................X2 -M3 nut...........................X2 or 4 if you are not using inserts -STL files........................1 each UPDATES: "Fan's duct" duct exit hole was increased from 1mm to 2mm for better airflow and less noise. 07/23/2019 STEPS: 1. Unmount the fan, and hot end from the X carriage 2. Use the same screws from the "metal cage" to mount "Fan Mount" 3. Mount the radial fan. Yo need 2 screws for this step, I left some tolerance because the radial fan can be different. Please see the pictures. 4. Place the M3 inserts on the external holes on "E3D V6 Mount2" 5. Place M3X8mm screws on the remaining holes of "E3D V6 Mount2" and mount it to the X carriage. (Where the hot end used to be). 6. use the M3X25mm screw to insert the stock fan. and screw them tight. 7. Wires! 8. Remember to adjust Z offset or move up ~5mm your Z switch. 9. Insert the fan duct on the radial fan. Drops of hot silicone will help! 10. Enjoy STEP files on the folder for further customization. Happy printing!
