Description
The "Taliburn" is a Caliburn Lower that accepts either Talon or Katana magazines. Combined with the Univeral upper, you can easily switch between Elite full length darts and magazines, and Talon/Katana mags for Half-Length darts. You can build One upper, and replace the lower between the standard Caliburn Lower, and the Taliburn Half-length Lower by pulling the takedown pins and changing out the lower. No Magazine adapters are needed. The upper has been modified to allow Katana mags to seat deep enough, and to allow the Katana/Talon Mag releases to reach the magazine. The Lower has been modified to fit the standard Elite Upper and to use the dual-spring Mag release system like on the Talon Claw. Elite, Talon and Katana mags have different depths that they need to be seated so that the darts align with the ram. After seating a magazine, you may need to pull down a bit so that the magazine release catches the mag at the correct height, and the darts are aligned. The Caliburn Standard lower magwell is unmodified and included here. The Talon Claw V3c Mag releases are unmodified and included here. Use the same print settings that you would for any other Caliburn print. I use 0.28 Layer Height and 25% Infill. I have printed this, and everything seems to fit. I haven't tested it extensively.
