DENTAL ARTICULATOR
Description
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DENTAL ARTICULATOR ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DENTAL ARTICULATOR is a mechanism that serves to recreate the bite, useful for dentists or dental students. It is adjustable in height and adjustable, it is a standard mechanism for any bite and flat model, just add a base with a hole to the models (jaws), this can be done with a 3D modeling program.etc I use Meshmixer, it is a free program, I work with the scanned bite, and I add the flat bases (2 mm) with the hole (10 m in diameter) and then print the models. Later I will put a video on how to do them in case someone can serve you. The jaws that I use as a sample (white) are printed in poor quality (FFF printing), I have made them from my scanned bite. - The reference of Dental Articulator are the bases of the bite (upper jaw and lower jaw), they must be parallel. Respecting the scanned bite, for that a base must be added to the models (1.5 - 2 mm thick), with a hole to adjust it. - The total height of the bite model (upper jaw + lower) is preferable to be more than 30 mm, if it is smaller you can use 3mm spacers (STL) The M4 tooth wrench is a modification of Yagokun's Baby tooth smile model, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2058973, thanks Printed Parts ----------------------- - Lower - Upper - Articulation - 2 x Washer - M4 Nut Wrench o M4 Tooth Wrench - Optional , washer 3 mm Thickness Hardware ---------------------- - 2 x Allen Head Screws M4 x 20 - 2 x Allen Head Screws M4 x 16 - 5 x M4 nuts - 1 x M4 LockNut - 1 x M4 washer
