Notch Blocks
Description
My Grandfather made this out of wood as a toy back in the 1960s. He died when I was one, so I could never ask where he got the design or if he made it. Each block was stamped with the E. MEDDAUGH into the wood. I was able to take the measurements and replicate the design in 3D, including the embossed stamp. I counted the quantity of each one. * half-notch - **29** * double-half-notch - **22** * wide-half-notch - **18** * 1-notch - **45** * 2-notch - **72** * 3-notch - **24** * 4-notch - **24** * 5-notch - **24** * 6-notch - **24** * 7-notch - **24** * 8-notch - **20** My Grandfather also made a wooden box to hold the set. I believe he made 5 sets of these overall. The box dimensions were: 99mm bottom case depth, 26mm top depth inside cover...5" total (close from bottom to top). 11"x11"inside. This is a fairly simple design and allowed for each block to fit into another.
