Arc reactor door knob
Description
I bought a new cupboard a few days ago and didn't like the door knobs. So I had the idea to create something cool in the arc reactor-style form iron man - this is the result. Not 100% like the original reactor but I had to look for stability :-) You need: The printed parts A screw A mini switch Some cables A knob battery CR2032 3x LED (blue) 1. Print all things in black or any color you like accept the diffusor. It has to be printed in white/transluscent oder glow in the dark filament 2. Glue the diffusor into the cap. Glue the coil on top of the cap 3. Take some copper cable and wind it around the wholes in the front- and backpart of the batteryholder 4. Insert the battery 5. Connect the battery to the LEDs. Don't forget to use the switch, there is a whole in the base part to insert it. Be aware of the polarity of the LEDs! 6. If everything's working (LEDs glowing :-) ) insert the battery and the LEDs in the base part. Close the base part by screwing the cap and the base part together. I fixed the switch with a little bit of PLA out of a 3d-pen, but I'm sure some glue does the same thing. 7. Use the screw to connect the knob on the door of your cupboard or on where ever you want :-) 8. You can change the battery simply by open up the knob (remember: Ít's screwed together :-) )
