QI Wireless Charger for IKEA bed for 5.8" smartphone
Description
Here is a remix of previously self-designed QI wireless charger bed for IKEA bed for 5.8" phones - after upgrade to Samsung S8 had to remix original charger for bigger phones. After 1.5 years of daily (nightly) usage of first version of chargers, we are so happy to have them, so after upgrade to S8 it wasn't an option to live without such chargers. :-) Additionally to original design, slightly modified top-surface and electronics mounting - had to do that as protective case I use raises phone above the surface. As result charging-coils are too far from each other. Now charger-coil is raised for a millimeter or so, and getting proper charging connection. (using following Spigen case: https://www.amazon.de/Spigen-565CS21598-2-teilige-Handyhülle-Schutzhülle-NH-Blue-Coral/dp/B06XP5V2RQ ) Electronics used for: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Qi-Wireless-Universal-Charger-PCBA-Circuit-Board-Coil-Wireless-Charging-Micro-USB-Port-DIY/32780560736.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.F7DXEs Consist of two parts: * body: charger_s8_p1.stl * and top thin cover: charger_s8_p2.stl The body is printed lying on side with holes for screws, with supports. PCB is fixed inside body with two spots of hot-glue. The coil placed on short pieces of flexible tubes - just to raise a bit and keep touching the top cover - to minimize distance between coil and phone (used pieces of heat shrink tube for that). The top thin cover is glued with acetone (used ABS for the thing). Also attaching source of model: designed in FreeCAD. There are a lot of invisible garbage objects, used during designing... may be used if someone would like to adjust for their bed size, or another smartphone size.
