Fractal Design Node 804 Large HDD Adapter
Description
A simple adapter to allow mounting of a high capacity hard drive (lacking middle screws) in the Node 804. The holes in the bracket are slightly further apart than the holes on the HDD. This is done intentionally to cause a slight bend and ensure that most of the drive's weight is supported by the metal bracket. I am not sure if this was necessary but it doesn't hurt. Your drives shouldn't get close to the glass transition temperature with adequate cooling, so PLA will be just fine for most people. Some drives however do approach this temperature as their upper limit, so if you do not have adequate cooling then you might consider printing this in ABS or PETG. Running at such temperatures could decrease the lifespan of your drives so it's not recommended, but that discussion is beyond the scope of this part description.
