BLV Printhead using Zesty Nimble and Zesty Kryo, with BLTouch - VERSION 2
Description
This is a revised version of my previous BLV printhead design, and was done to move a large portion of the weight (what little there is) to the back, so that the distribution is more even. I also wanted to have less visual mass in front of the print nozzle, so I can more easily see what it's doing, and add a visual indicator of the centerline of the nozzle. I was also able to lower the nimble even more towards the kryo, and lastly just some general tweaking for fitment. This is the version I've built for myself and is fully constructed and verified. One thing I DID change that's important, is the loom - I am using a 1/2" loom cover, to acoommodate the tubing and wiring better. the parts in here are for that size. I will be updating more detail on the construction as a guide to help with putting it all together. I also included the patchboard files so that the part is easily made and utilized. I decided to separate out the hotend wiring from the patchboard on this one, to allow for a wider range of wattages, since the old patchboard can only really handle 40 watts at 24v. If you're using 12v, then the wattage is even more limited. In the near future I will do a variation on this to accommodate a Piezo Orion.
