FireFrame - Kindle Fire HD 6 Frame
Description
I designed this enclosure to convert an old Amazon Fire HD 6 into a digital photo frame. Mine is running an app from the Play Store called Fotoo which is running a slideshow from Google Photos. The three peices of the enclosure just slot together and there's a channel to route a micro USB cable for charging and an audio cable if you want to use it to control a music app or whatever. For the cables you'll need right angled ones and you may find, as I did, that you'll still need to gently trim the plastic casing of the jack with a dremmel to make them fit. --- ## Printing Notes All the STLs are set up ready to go in the correct orientation, the Frame and the Enclosure are both flat on their backs so should print fine. The Stand might be a little tricky as it's a cylinder so probably best to use a Raft/Brim.
