Cover for in-wall water valve with knockouts
Description
I moved the fridge today to swap an inline filter and found a gaping hole in the wall where the water line used to connect (now it goes to an RO filter). Seeing as how that hole was ugly and needed to be covered, but not permanently, I resorted to the 3D printer for an answer. I printed the first version which I will call the "dumb" cover which is just a panel with text that says "WATER" so I know whats back there. That is all I plan to print since I am not made of money and filament does not grow on trees (my understanding is that it comes on the cob though). The other version which is "2b" has a knock out which can either accomodate upto a 21mm hose or can also seal the hole off. There is plug labeled as "WATER" as well in case the hole needs to be sealed, but you want to be able to know whats back there (fixed STL 8/19/2019). I am gonna leave this as a work in progress since I am not printing the version with the knock out. It's just a panel though so should work. The version 2B with the punchout has a groove that holds the punchout insert, which is untested so if you print this, let me know how it works for you. The panel measures 200x270mm. Feel free to re-mix it and please post your makes/comments/suggestions.
