Openpilot magnetic mount

Openpilot magnetic mount

Description

*All (not rendered) pictures provided are from an older prototype version* This is a magnetic mount designed to be used with a Comma EON. The "base" file would be mounted directly to the windshield, and the "top" file would be screwed into the EON in place of the default GoPro mount. I believe it is a 24° mount, which is all I've made at the moment. If you would like a different angle, leave a comment! How to use: Put the following products into the 3d printed parts as shown in the photos. I don't have an EON right now, so I can't show that, but it's fairly self-explanatory if you have your own. If you've made a frEon, message me via the discord server in #hw-unofficial This is [the cable you should use](https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Cool-Compatible-i-Product-Micro-USB/dp/B07TWC4MDS/), and [this](https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Ruaeoda-Degree-Extension-MacBook/dp/B077XL7Q7H/) is the right angle adapter to use. The design is modeled around these specifically. Only one cable from the three-pack is used, and only one of the adapters is used. I couldn't find individual cables. [This](https://www.amazon.com/URWOOW-Adapter-Extension-Degree-Female/dp/B07JK1G6W2/) is a possible alternative for the right angle adapter, but I can't guarantee it'll fit. [Magnets](https://www.amazon.com/CMS-Magnetics-Neodymium-Adhesives-Non-Shattering/dp/B01I1ZB2SE) I can send you a cable as well, $5 plus shipping (in USA) You will also need a female to male USB c cable, many of which can be found on amazon. Try to get a short (1 foot or less) one to reduce cable clutter. This will connect the right angle adapter to the EON/frEON Share any makes with the "post a make button" on the right!
