E-stop case (for Genmitsu / Saintsmart CNC)
Description
**** Added a version without the front holes. It will make it harder to screw the case to the frame but I thought I'd still add this version for does of you who put design over functionality. **** New Improved Version 2.0 **** After gaining more experience using Fusion 360 and also 3D printing I decided to revisit this design and improve some of it flaws. The emergency stop I used for this case is labeled: "ZB2-BE102C". The new design includes following improvements: - accurate dimensions - the case perfectly fits the holes of the vertical frame of the Sainsmart MX3 - the case also fits any 2040 aluminium extrusion - easy access to the screws (in my old design it was really hard to thighten the screws. Therefore I added 4 holes in the case to easily access the screws with an hex key. - I reduced the thickness of the walls to 4 mm which from my experience is plenty enough. - I added a small hole for the wire. *** BOM *** - 4 x M5 20mm screws (they are replacing the M5 16mm from the frame of the CNC
