Carriage Stability Upgrades for Tevo Tarantula
Description
Improved X and Y axises carriages using three wheels and a tensioner on each carriage. Eliminates the wobble and the finicky eccentric nuts. My Tevo has no wobble after these upgrade other than the slight flex in the bed carriage arms. All parts were printed with support. The few areas I did not have support are around the holes where the nuts go and their adjacent bolt holes as it is difficult to remove the support. -X Axis: The X axis has an integrated cooling fan duct that will fit a 50mm x 15mm blower fan. I've designed the duct to blow from behind the extruder as to allow both the bed leveling probe to be mounted as well as to keep the extruder in open access. The duct prints as a separate piece and will have to be glued onto the X carriage. You will need 2 M4 35mm bolts and 2 M4 nuts. All other parts are used from stock X carriage. -Y Axis: The bed carriage is a remake from Nemo_Nobody making it so it only uses three wheels and a tensioner. You will need 2 M4 40mm bolts and 2 M4 nuts. All other parts are used from stock bed carriage. -Spool Holder: Remixed from HugoHuge's I designed a new 2020 mounting bracket to allow the spool to sit on top of the printer turned 90° to allow easy front load/unloading of the spool as well as to allow the direct drive extruder to not have to pull the filament at an odd angle. You will need two skateboard bearings
